To maintains strict disciplinary standards in the institute, the proctorial board has to play a major role. The board is headed by a disciplinarian lecturer from amongst the teaching staff and a senior student acts as the head girl of the institute with a team of proctors. Their duties are as under:
To insure that proper discipline is maintained during the study hours.
To keep the chief proctor / head girls informed about irregularities, indiscipline. Disturbance and indecent behavior of the students.
To ensure that students are in proper uniform and representing the institute in an upright manner are all occasions / functions.
Last, but not the least, their self discipline should be exemplary.
